CPNS Practitioners' Qualification and Experience

 The CPNS Practitioners have the Training, Qualifications & Experience required to make a real difference in their clients' lives. 

The CPNS Practitioners are the BACP registered Counsellors, Psychotherapists, and Supervisors, BPS registered Life Coaches, Occupational Psychologists, Business Coaches working within the BPS or BACP ethical frameworks. They specialize in working with a wide range of issues using advanced techniques to help Clients address their complications and succeed. 

They work with a wide range of issues such as work related issues, anxiety, relationship issues, childhood traumas, pregnancy issues and child related issues, self-esteem, identity issues, sexuality issues, depression, cultural issues, and many other. They are experienced in helping clients to cope with redundancy, work related stress, infertility, adoption, cancer, mental health problems, relationship breakdown, infidelity, profound physical disabilities, and many other. Some practitioners specialize in working with veterans with psychological conditions related to their Service career.  Others specialize in working with clients living with terminal illness and their partners, families, and friends. 

Practitioners normally work within one or more of these frameworks: Art therapy, Behavioural therapy, Body psychotherapy, Brief therapy, Cognitive Analytic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Dance movement therapy (DMT), Drama therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Existential psychotherapy, Family therapy, Gestalt therapy, Group analysis, Group psychotherapy, Humanistic psychotherapies, Hypno-psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Person-centred counselling, Psychoanalysis, Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Psychosynthesis, Relational psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, Relationship counselling, Solution-focused brief therapy, Systemic therapies, Transactional analysis (TA), Transpersonal psychotherapy, and other.

The CPNS Practitioners can apply an Eclectic Approach or an Integrative Approach including a powerful combination of techniques from cognitive exercises to creative interventions. Some may provide Bereavement Counselling, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), General Counselling, Psychoanalytic Counselling, Psychodynamic Approach, Solution Focused Approach, the third generation CBT techniques of Mindfulness and Acceptance Therapy along side with other approaches. 

Some practitioners are trained and experienced in a number of other modalities too, including Meditation and Yoga, or offer the Holistic approach to meet their client's needs. Others have experience of working on a philosophical & spiritual level, working relationally, or use Creative Arts Methods, Art, Drama, and Film, when client seeks this approach.
